Twitter is losing two top level executives.
CTO Adam Messinger said he is leaving the company to take some time off. VP of product Josh McFarland is leaving to join venture firm Greylock Partners, which backed his prior company, adtech startup TellApart, before Twitter acquired it last year.
Their departure will be yet another in Twitter’s growing list of executive departures. Twitter recently acquired app maker Yes to bring on new product lead Keith Coleman, who replaces Kevin Weil. Now the technology company will have another two vacancies to fill.
All these comes at a time when, the company was able to deliver some much-needed solid results, it laid off a significant portion of its workforce in October. Company had a several-month saga of trying to sell itself to a variety of suitors, including Salesforce, which ultimately walked away from the talks in October shortly before the company reported its Q3 results.
