Over the decades, technology has pushed the boundaries in many realms of our lives, making it easier and more convenient. Most of our everyday hassles can be solved with just a click of a button, and often these services are available to us at great speed. Whether it is getting food, groceries & utilities delivered home or paying bills on time, there is an app for everything we do. But too many apps have also cluttered our phones and made it even more chaotic to track multiple things. We all can relate to the frenzy of dealing with multiple service vendors from different apps on a workday.

As technology makes communication between Management Committee, Owners Association (OA) or Resident Welfare Association (RWA) a seamless task, they can devote time to organize festivals and also create awareness about the problems impacting them at different levels. Harboring a sense of community and togetherness, these apps enable residents to share interesting events, stories, news, images with neighbors. Ultimately one can connect with neighbors with similar interests to have discussions, indulge in sports, volunteer work or for pursuing hobbies in the Groups feature.

In today’s time, the phone numbers and other such details are often linked to bank accounts, and this can lead to cybercrime, where the residents can become victims without even suspecting a fraudulent activity. Thus, the need of the hour is an Ad-Free, Zero-Spam housing facility management app that keeps the data security of the users at it its core ethos.

In fact, technology should enable users to avail of multiple services without being charged extra for it. That is why a subscription-based model works better, compared to free-to-use apps as they will always be in the grey area where they would either overcharge for essentials or compromise on data security. Krishanu grew up in a joint family in Kolkata, doing his schooling in Don Bosco, Kolkata. He was equally adept in curricular and extra-curricular activities – representing school and later college in sports, quiz & extempore competitions. 

Before joining ADDA, he has 18+ years of industry experience specializing in Product Management & Marketing, across companies like Infosys, Mindtree, and Motorola. He did his graduation in Power Engineering, from the National Power Training Institute (Eastern Region), a college under the Ministry of Power. Following a brief stint in the Power Sector, he shifted to IT. Krishanu later earned his International Business & Marketing MBA from Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune. 

At Infosys, he was part of the team building BrandEdge, a proprietary digital marketing product. At Mindtree, he was part of the Global Digital Transformation team, working out of Mindtree’s India and UK offices, providing Strategic Consulting to clients. Krishanu has won several client appreciation awards in his career.

At ADDA, Krishanu was previously involved in setting up the Product Management department, building and mentoring the team and managing ADDA’s global product portfolio of 8+ products. Presently he leads the Marketing team, handling marketing and growth initiatives in India, UAE, the USA. He is extremely passionate about the Community Management space and has been with ADDA.io for the last 8 years. He is also a part of the Management Committee of his own Housing Society.
