This housing facility management company has an app which is one stop solution for residents. Starting from Mumbai in 2009, it was an ERP platform when the industry was at a nascent stage. While it has a widespread presence in India, the company has a global footprint across markets including US, Singapore, Mauritius, UAE and the Middle East. PhonePe
Headquartered in Bengaluru, PhonePe is a digital payments and financial services startup started by Rahul Chari, Sameer Nigam and Burzin Engineer in December 2015. The UPI-based app was, however, introduced in August 2016. It is available in 11 Indian languages. Users can use it to send and receive money, recharge their phones and DTH, pay for utilities, and make in-store purchases, among other financial transactions. A new tool called UPI International allows you to pay some foreign retailers with QR codes using your account from an Indian bank. Enabling international transactions and business, this one has taken Indian fintech on the global map.
Zomato
Zomato is a popular foodtech platform that connects cloud kitchens, restaurants and the best hotels with consumers who wish to have their food delivered. It was launched by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah in 2008. It provides information, menus, listings of popular restaurants. In 2011, the brand expanded from Delhi NCR to major metros of the country. Varun Khaitan, Abhiraj Bhaland Raghav Chandra founded Urban Company in 2014. It was earlier known as Urban Clap and changed its name in January 2020. A range of services are available at home through the digital platform Urban Company. Clients utilise their platform to schedule services including massage therapy, hair salons, beauty treatments, cleaning, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and more. Meesho
Bangalore is home to the headquarters of Fashnear Technologies Private Limited, an Indian e-commerce startup operating under the name Meesho. It is an online marketplace that heavily relies on external social media sites like Facebook and Instagram to enable commerce between suppliers, resellers, and buyers. Time magazine named Meesho one of the year’s most significant startups in 2023. Meesho is touted as the fastest shopping app to surpass 500 million downloads in a single year.
